Hosting 4 US Presidents, actors and actresses, and some of the most important events in Bristol, Rhode Island’s history, the Linden Place is a grand estate to be remembered. Frequently the backdrop to weddings and receptions, this estate house is located along the parade route of the oldest 4th of July Parade in America. History buffs will be impressed by the Federal style architecture and stories of the Linden and Dewolf families who were previouse owners.
Full use of the ballroom, porticos, courtyard, and gardens is included in the rental of this venue. Guests often mingle in the courtyard after a garden ceremony and move to the farmhouse style ballroom for a reception meal and dancing. The ballroom can host nearly 200 for a sit down meal and sets a beautiful wood and dark cherry backdrop for events. The springtime is among the most beautiful time of year at Linden Place with its garden flowering with cherry blossoms and blooming oak and linden trees. Linden Place is also an ideal venue for evening soirees, cocktail events, and art exhibits, specially taking into account its large swinging exterior doors giving the ballroom direct accessto exhibits or items as large as a truck or van.
